SIMULATION COORDINATOR

STATUS:                         Full-time Position
SALARY RANGE:          Dependent upon experience and degree
REPORTS TO:                 Division Chair & Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs
PRIMARY PURPOSE:    To teach college-level health-care related courses

Qualifications

REQUIRED

  1. Education: Registered Nurse with MSN, DNP preferred; ACLS, PALS certification or eligibility.
  2. Experience: Experience in high-fidelity simulation; familiarity with moulage. Have a valid Indiana driver’s license. Experience in adult education methodologies; educational theories and practices, and curriculum development. Familiarity with distance learning principles; have strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suites.

PREFERRED

  • Preference given to applicants with demonstrated learning and success in adult instruction.
  • Preference given to applicants with community college experience.

POSITION:                 Full-time Nursing Faculty
STATUS:                     Full-time
REPORTS TO:            Director, Division of Nursing and Health Sciences/Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs
SUPERVISES:             Nurse Preceptors and nursing students
PRIMARY PURPOSE:           Responsible for the development, implementation, ongoing evaluation, and continuous improvement of assigned aspect of the RN curriculum at Ancilla College according to appropriate accrediting and licensing bodies. Assigns, guides, evaluates and supervises students in their learning experiences. Ensures sound academic principles are maintained.

Campus Minister (Catholic)

Full Time Staff Overview of Ancilla College Campus Ministry The Campus Minister will promote the mission and values of Ancilla within the context of the College’s Catholic tradition and ecumenical climate. The campus minister will specifically address the spiritual, religious and ministerial needs of college students both on campus and within the residence Hall. He/she also supports the sacramental life of the entire college community. The campus minister develops and executes programs and initiatives: Roman Catholic, ecumenical and interfaith liturgies, social justice education and action, spiritual reflection and community service. In addition, the campus minister works particularly in program development, retreats, leadership training, and service learning projects

Minimum Qualifications: A master’s degree in theology or pastoral ministry is preferred and equivalent experience required. Applicant should have a commitment to and be an active participant in the Roman Catholic faith tradition, community and practice. He/she must possess experience in campus ministry and pastoral experience that compliments the mission of campus ministry at a religiously, culturally, and ethnically diverse college.  The successful candidate should also possess excellent interpersonal, collaborative, organizational and communication skills.
