Ancilla College, a two-year, private college in rural Indiana seeks full-time faculty in biology, chemistry, and mathematics.
BIOLOGY FACULTY: Teach Botany, Plant Ecology, Genetics for majors, including pre-agriculture and restoration ecology program. Willing to teach introductory courses and courses for general education (non-majors); participate in environmental studies on campus (approximately 2000 acres, with plant communities representative of the historic Grand Kankakee Marsh); engage undergraduates in environmental field research. QUALIFICATIONS: Masters degree in biology or related field (PhD preferred).
Salary range $30’s to low $40’s.
CHEMISTRY FACULTY: Teach Introductory Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Environmental Chemistry. Willing to teach general chemistry for non-majors (Health Sciences, Nursing); teach course information to students in groups and individually using instructional methodology appropriate to the audience and to the subject (e.g. lecture, demonstration, group discussion, technology-enhanced delivery, computer-assisted delivery, and distance delivery). QUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree in chemistry or related field of study (PhD preferred). Salary range $30’s to low $40’s.
MATHEMATICS FACULTY: Teach college-level courses in mathematics, including but not limited, to college algebra, statistics, and calculus. Must be willing to teach remedial courses as needed.
