Preview Day Preview Day provides an opportunity for students and parents to visit our campus and discover how Ancilla will help take you to where you want to go. During Preview Day you will meet college representatives from offices such as Admissions, Financial Aid, and Student Development. You will have an opportunity to ask questions of students who currently attend the college. In addition, you will tour the campus and meet faculty members.
Academic Explore Days
Prospective students are invited to participate in Academic Explore Days at which are a series of events designed to provide academic and career information to prospective students. You will be able to explore a variety of options and career paths specific to your selection academic area of interest.
Placement Parties The placement test is an instrument used to help determine the best classes for you to take as you start your education. For those students who need to take their placement tests prior to registering for classes but feel uneasy scheduling an individual appointment, attending one of the Placement Parties may be the answer. The Placement Parties are designed to help ease the pressure of testing by providing a welcoming environment prior to the test. As always, there is no pass or fail and you can take the test over if you feel you can do better.
Orientation
All students who are planning to enroll at Ancilla are expected to attend one of the Orientation sessions. Orientation is designed to assist you in the transition from high school, college, work, or home to student life at Ancilla College. At Orientation you will learn more about the college including your academic area of interest as well as register for classes.
