What is FAFSA? The FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is the core document necessary to apply for all types of student financial aid available through the state and federal governments as well as Ancilla College. The completed FAFSA must be returned to the federal government electronically or by mail. Do not send a copy to Ancilla College. Ancilla College must be listed as a college choice on the FAFSA in order for Ancilla College to receive the information from the government. In completing the FAFSA, applicants will need Ancilla College's federal school code which is 00178400. Residents from Indiana may be eligible for grant assistance from the State Student Assistance Commission of Indiana grant programs. Students are reviewed for eligibility automatically by completing the FAFSA before March 10th preceding fall (August) or spring (January) start. Note: Financial aid is attendance and enrollment based. Students who apply for and receive financial assistance and later withdraw during a semester may lose a significant value of eligibility according to federal/state policy.
