Friday, October 25th saw students, faculty, staff, PHJC sisters, PHJC residents and more gathering by the lake to enjoy the fall weather and each other’s company. Ancilla’s Student Government Association hosted its first Fall Bash.
“This is one of the best attended SGA events I’ve gone to,” said Sam Soliman, Instructor of psychology and sociology at Ancilla College, “There was a lot going on and SGA did a great job putting it together.”
Activities included cornhole, pumpkin carving, pumpkin putting, face-painting, music, a bonfire, and a costume contest. Guests could roast hotdogs and marshmallows over the fire and enjoy hot chocolate.
There were also raffles and door prizes for those who attended. Prizes were donated by Bourbon St. Pizza, Papa John’s, and Dairy Queen. A student and a staff member each won a gas card and another staff member won a free pedicure.
