Marc Green is the new Director of Field Maintenance and Charger Golf coach at Ancilla College.
Green is a 2003 graduate from Goshen College, where he was a member of the Maple Leaf golf team. Over the last ten years, Green has given both group and individual instruction at Juday Creek Golf Course, located in Granger, Indiana. Previously, he spent two years assisting the Lady Charger softball team. In his free time, Green enjoys playing golf and helping at his parish, St. John the Evangelist in Goshen.
“Ancilla College is a very special place; the peace and serenity of the campus, the special attention each student receives, and the fact that it is a Catholic institution, makes Ancilla a dream destination for me,” expressed Green. He further stated, “It is an incredible opportunity to receive this position.”
Charger athletic director Gene Reese commented, “Marc is a great fit at Ancilla College because he is a practicing Catholic, who believes in the concept of student-athletes and strong community service. Marc was a golfer throughout his collegiate career and has experience coaching and recruiting at the junior college level. Marc also worked field maintenance at his previous junior college. Currently, he is recruiting for the 2014-2015 golf team.
Green currently resides in Goshen with his wife and two children.
Ancilla College, part of The Center at Donaldson, offers 18 Associate’s Degree and eight athletic programs. Since 1937, the College has been a sponsored ministry of the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ and is located two miles south of US 30 on Union Road near Plymouth, Indiana.
