INDIANAPOLIS, IN – John Marshall High School student Noe Rodriguez recently signed his Letter of Intent to play men’s soccer for Ancilla College in the 2013-2014 season.
“I am so excited to attend Ancilla and to work with a program that has so much potential. Coach Gallagher from Ancilla and the admissions office have been fantastic,” Rodriguez said.
“I am looking forward to be part of the Ancilla academic and athletic community!”
Rodriguez was a four-year varsity player at John Marshall High School and will enroll at Ancilla next Fall. While at John Marshall he earned First Team All-Conference selection in his senior year and All-City for both soccer and football (kicker). Rodriguez totaled 37 goals and 21 assists in his senior year for John Marshall this past season.
“Noe is a superb kid and represented John Marshall in a positive manner in every sense as a student-athlete. I have no doubt he will be successful in all he does at Ancilla!” Marshall Athletic Director Aaron Sembly said.
Besides the great effort on the athletic field, Rodriguez was named valedictorian while being involved with community service projects through his school and church.
Ancilla coach Darren Gallagher is enthusiastic about his recruit. “Noe Rodriguez is a rare find and I cannot thank Mr. Sembly enough for his contact in regards to Noe. Noe will bring a high level of tactical thought to our attack and has proven he is a natural goal-scorer.”
