How to Apply for Financial Aid
The FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is the only form all students must fill out to apply for federal and state grants and to determine loan eligibility. Additional forms will be required by the school if the student’s file is chosen for verification of information (see Financial Aid FAQ ). If the student or parents are interested in applying for loans, separate application steps are required after completing the FAFSA.
You can use the Expected Family Contribution (EFC) calculator to estimate your EFC. If you e-mail this result to email@example.com, along with your name and address, our Financial Aid Office can provide you with an unofficial aid estimate based on this result. Or, you can complete the Ancilla College Early Estimate Form to obtain an estimated financial aid package. Please remember that aid estimates are not official financial aid awards, and are subject to change based on FAFSA results, student information, or verification requirements.
Although families are encouraged to use actual tax information when completing the FAFSA, estimated figures may be used, if necessary to meet application deadlines.
Ancilla’s school ID Number: 001784
In the spring term, the Financial Aid Office will mail an estimated financial aid award letter using estimated full time enrollment figures to all applicants once federally calculated initial FAFSA results are received. Financial aid awards based on estimated full-time enrollment information will be subject to revision upon receipt and review of actual enrollment information.
