The deadline is coming!

Friday, March 10th is the deadline to file your Free Application for Federal Student Aid in Indiana. The FAFSA is not just important. It is essential to qualify for state and federal aid.

If you miss the March 10th deadline you will not qualify for Indiana financial aid. Not a dime. Nothing. Zilch…

The FAFSA is the key application to determine eligibility for federal, state, and Ancilla College financial aid. You can apply easily and quickly online via FAFSA.ed.gov. Completing the FAFSA is free. Use FAFSA.Gov not FAFSA.com. You should be wary of mailings or web sites that require you to pay a fee for this absolutely free form.

More than $300 million in state financial aid for college is available this year for Indiana students who qualify for need- and performance-based scholarships.

Unfortunately, too many Hoosiers fail to complete the FAFSA–either because they don’t know they should, they don’t know how, or they miss the March 10 deadline. Don’t miss out!

What do you need to file the FAFSA?

The fastest and easiest way to file the FAFSA is online at www.fafsa.gov. To complete the FAFSA, you will need:

1) Your Social Security Number;

2) An FSA ID to sign electronically;

3) Your 2015 federal income tax returns, W-2s, and other records of money earned (Note, this is different from previous years and you can likely import last year’s return information with one click of the button at FAFSA.Gov).  NOTE: Dependent students need this same information for their parent(s).

Ancilla’s FAFSA ID number is 001784
