There are only two New Student Orientation Sessions left– August 4th and August 18th (during move-in weekend for international students and late arrivals)

Orientations are required of all new students to the college. They are your chance to complete your registration process and learn more about becoming a student at Ancilla!


NEW STUDENT ORIENTATION
12 pm to 3:30 pm (EDT)

2017 New Students & Transfer Students

PRIOR to Orientation:

  • Register for one of the Summer Orientation Sessions (June 2nd, June 23rd, August 4th or August 18th)
  • Request OFFICIAL Transcripts from all high schools and colleges previously attended
  • Begin to identify opportunities to get involved on campus
  • CONFIRM that Admissions has received all required official records (application, transcripts, etc.)

Remember to BRING TO ORIENTATION:

  •  Any medical documentation that you would like to provide to the ADA Resource Director
  •  Any documents you may need to submit (e.g. Financial Aid correspondence, AP scores, etc.)
  • Appropriate clothing for possible inclement weather (jacket/sweater, dress in layers)
  •  COMFORTABLE walking shoes

DURING the day of Orientation:

  • Free College Placement Exams (if needed) Take any required College Placement Testing beginning at 9:00 am
  • Enroll in Fall Classes if you haven’t done so already
  • Take picture for your Ancilla College Student ID
  • Meet with Financial Aid Officer
  • Set up your Ancilla College email account

  • Orientations begin at Noon but you can take College Placement tests at Ancilla beginning at 9 am each of these days (if needed).
  • Your best contact number (cell or home)
  • The email you are still using and reading most often
  • This provides us with an accurate count for food and planning purposes.
