DONALDSON, IN – Riley High School senior, Colton Baker, recently signed her National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Letter of Intent to bowl at Ancilla College.

During his bowling career as a Wildcat under coaches Mike Graveel, Chris Harrison and Robert Carpenter, Baker bowled a 213 average with a 299 high game score. He was a member of the 2014 State Champion Team and a 2015-16 Semi-State Individual Qualifier. Baker was also a member of the 2015-16 All-Regional Team and a four time team Conference Champion.

“I am excited to help start a new program for bowling at Ancilla,” commented Baker. “I was impressed with Coach Al and his ambition to put a great team together. I also really enjoyed that Ancilla offers personalized attention in academics and a focus on helping me be successful both as an athlete and a student.”

“I am excited to have Colton as a member of the Ancilla College bowling program,” remarked Head Bowling Coach Al Franklin. “He has had a successful bowling career at the high school level and we are excited to see his skills transition over to the collegiate level.”

Colton is the son of Ron and Karla Baker. While attending Ancilla College, Colton plans to work toward his degree in Environmental Technology.
