Horlacher has received five varsity letters and was named the Most Improved Cheerleader in 2014 and the Most Active First Year Member.
In high school, Horlacher has also been a part of the Radio/TV group and received the first place Radio/TV spot production award.
Kayla Heiston, Western Boone Varsity Cheer Coach remarked on Horlacher, “Lee Ann is a hardworking, talented cheerleader. Her laugh is as contagious as they come and she is a true cheerleader at heart.”
When asked why she felt Ancilla was the right choice for her, Horlacher replied, “The size of Ancilla was just right for me. I really wanted a small school and I really enjoyed cheering in high school. Ancilla offered me both and it just felt right.”
“We are thrilled to welcome Lee Ann to the team,” commented Ancilla College head coach Kaylee King. “She has wonderful cheerleading experience and natural talent. She will be serving in the position of flyer for us this upcoming season and while that isn’t an easy task, I am sure that her great work ethic will allow her to be successful at the college level.”
