DONALDSON, IN – On Sunday, the Chargers competed at Harper College in the Regional tournament where D’Angelo Scott was able to capture a spot in the National tournament.

After being the fifth seed walking in, Scott was able to defeat the number four seed. “He wrestled the best he has done so far in the biggest tournament we have competed in thus far,” said Head Coach Steve VanDerAa.

In the ticket round, Scott had to face off against Jake Verschoor, who pinned him two weeks ago. After building a seven point lead, Scott was able to finish the match in a dramatic style with a pin at the 6:25 mark placing him third overall.
