Some professionals want their articles published as “open source”–available online, free of charge. Open source allows the author’s work to be easily found and easily cited in others’ research–which means the author’s name recognition in the field is increased.
But this also means that as students doing research, you have free and easy access to these sources. The ones listed here are also peer-reviewed.
Remember, open source articles will still need to be cited in your work. You need citations for any source–book, article, website, DVD, etc.–that you use in your research, regardless of where it came from.
