If you are looking for experience in the workforce before you graduate from Ancilla, Career Planning in the A+CE Success Center will help you find an internship or set up a job shadowing experience for you with a local business.
Career Planning provides workshops on resume writing, mock interviews, cover letters, assessment, and can show you how to upload your resume to state and national job sites that are set up for students and recent graduates.
Meet with us one-on-one or use this website from the privacy of your own home. Plus, services do not stop when you graduate; you will have access to these same services once you become an Ancilla alum.
Career Planning is located in Room C222 and is open Monday – Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and other times by appointment.

The Registration form is a link accessed from your FOCUS 2 LOGIN page (above). New users simply click on the REGISTER button. To complete the form, new users will be required to enter an ACCESS CODE. The Access Code is the same for all users. New users simply fill out the requested information on the form and click CONTINUE.

VMock, is an online resume review tool that leverages technologies like machine learning, and natural language processing to provide instant personalized feedback on your resume based on criteria gathered from employers and global best practices – from anywhere, at any time of the day. And it’s available to Ancilla students for free!
Simply create an account, upload your resume, and VMock will:
VMock is designed to work with resume from many different fields across various industries. Once you receive the detailed feedback, make relevant changes to the resume and re-upload it to see the increased score and associated improvements.

2) Enter your email address and hit ‘Complete registration’
3) Set your password and click on ‘Sign Up’ button to proceed
4) You will then be asked to confirm your email-id
5) Verify your email address by clicking on the “Verify Account” button in the email received in your mailbox
