Why the Bridge Program?

Ancilla College offers an LPN to RN Bridge Program for bridging the gap between the educational requirements of LPNs and RNs and provides you with an opportunity to advance both your education and your potential for professional advancement. Coursework in the Bridge Program are designed to build your understanding of nursing theory, nursing science, patient care methods and professional nursing practice.

The program combines small, interactive classroom learning with expert clinical experiences at local and regional health care facilities.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to Registered Nurse (RN) Bridge Program at Ancilla College will prepare you to take the NCLEX licensure exam for licensure as an RN. Students achieving an ASN often continue on to receive a bachelor’s (BSN) or master’s (MSN) for more career advancement opportunities.
