Graduates of the Ancilla College Nursing program, accredited by the Indiana State Board of Nursing, are prepared to enter a rapidly expanding field. After graduation you will take the National Council on Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) to earn license as a registered nurse.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) Program at Ancilla College will prepare you to take the NCLEX licensure exam for licensure as an ASN . Students achieving an ASN often continue on to receive a bachelor’s (BSN) or master’s (MSN) for more career advancement opportunities. The ASN program will also prepare you to transfer to a four-year institution to further your studies.

As of July 1, 2020, Indiana is a compact state. The National Counsel State Board of Nursing, NCSBN, implemented new regulations that professional nursing programs must adhere. Regulation 34 CFR 668.43 (a) (5) (v)

Ancilla College ensures that the nursing curriculum meets Indiana educational requirements for professional licensure; however, Ancilla College will not determine whether the nursing curriculum meets any other state requirements.

Ancilla nursing students are responsible for verifying the state requirements needed for the state in which they are seeking licensure.
