Is there a program to follow along with?
Yep, here it is
Do I have to watch on a laptop?
You can watch on any device that can open the link. Additionally, you can also watch commencement on your smart TV because casting to your TV is easy breezy. Here’s a tutorial for almost every type of situation. Additionally, if your laptop has an HDMI port on it, then you can just plugin and stream that way.
I want to have a socially-distanced party at my house (my area is cool with it, everyone is cool with it) to watch with friends. Is that okay?
We support it. In-person parties (following your state’s regulations and recommendations) are fine everybody is welcome to watch the commencement ceremony.
I want to have a Zoom party with friends. Can I share the link?
Sure! But also make sure you chat with your other graduating friends in the live chat so they don’t get lonely and or jealous of your sweet zoom party.
I can’t watch it live, so can I watch it later?
Time zones are hard for me, help please.
This will help.
Should I dress up?
If that’s what you need to do, by all means. It’s your graduation, feel special and celebrated because you are!
What if nothing works for me?
If you can get in the chat, ask the moderator. If that doesn’t work and you’re still having any trouble, email firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll do our best to assist.
My internet connection is historically flawed. Will this be a frustrating experience for me?<br />
Potentially? This bank of support articles might help get your connections and devices prepped and ready for minimal frustrations.
Should I turn my tassel or toss my hat into the air?
Of course, you should. You did it, you graduated! Just avoid throwing it like a ninja star, because then your dad will have to get out the spackle.
We want you to share this special day with your family and friends!
