DONALDSON – In an attempt to showcase local businesses, as well as introduce soon-to-be graduates to opportunities within their community, the Marshall County Economic Development Corporation (MCEDC), the City of Plymouth and Ancilla College will be hosting the first “Made in Marshall County” event. The event will be held on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 from 9:00AM to 2:30PM EDT at the Swan Lake Resort and Conference Center, located at 5203 Plymouth-La Porte Trail in Plymouth.
This special event will allow local firms to showcase their products that are produced, assembled and/or distributed locally from Marshall County. The primary focus of the event is to provide an opportunity for area high school seniors throughout the County to get acquainted with the products and associated processes, training, education and potential employment opportunities as they prepare for their futures. This type of networking can ultimately prove positive for both the students and the businesses. There is no cost to participate.
Any questions concerning the event can be directed toward Todd Zeltwanger, VP of Development at Ancilla College at 574-952-8148 or you can email him at todd.zeltwanger-at-ancilla.edu. If your company is interested in participating, please call Pam Davis at the Marshall County Economic Development Corporation at (574) 935-8499.
The deadline to register is February 27th.
