DONALDSON, IN – Tyler Stringfellow, a graduate of Northridge High School, recently signed his National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Letter of Intent to play Lacrosse at Ancilla College.
Stringfellow, a 5’11” defensive player, is a three year varsity letter winner in Lacrosse where he was team captain. While playing for Coach Gregg Eash, he was also named Northern Lakes Conference All-Conference Long Stick Midfielder. Outside of Lacrosse, he earned three varsity letters in football at Northridge where he was named All Northern Lakes Conference Honorable Mention.
“Tyler is a great leader on and off the field,” said Northridge coach Gregg Eash. “He will be a great addition to the Ancilla program.”
“Ancilla just felt like the place to be,” remarked Stringfellow. “I am ready to take my lacrosse career to the next level and Ancilla is allowing me to do just that.”
“Adding Tyler to the first-ever Ancilla College lacrosse team is a huge pick up for us,” commented Brian Welch, head coach for the Chargers. “He’s a great leader on and off the field and comes from a solid program at Northridge. Tyler has a non-stop motor and will always give 110% every day. I look forward to him being a staple in the Charger defense.
Tyler is the son of Joe and Samantha Stringfellow. While attending Ancilla, he plans to study Criminal Justice.
