DONALDSON, IN – Lissette Salas Hernandez, a graduate of West Noble High School, recently signed her National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Letter of Intent to continue her cross country career at Ancilla College.
Salas Hernandez is a four time varsity letter recipient for the Chargers. She also received Most Improved honors while running under the direction of head cross country coach, Chuck Schlemmer.
“Ancilla is just the right size, not too big or too small,” said Salas Hernandez. “The college has my major and my sport and I look forward to being able to run for Ancilla.”
“Lissette is a great addition to our cross country team,” commented Head Cross Country Coach Brian Pearison. “We are glad to have her and I think she is going to be a great runner for us.”
Lissette is the daughter of Santa Hernandez and Alejandro Salas. While attending Ancilla College, she plans to major in Criminal Justice.
Ancilla College (www.ancilla.edu), part of The Center at Donaldson, offers 18 associate degrees and 10 athletic programs. Since 1937, the College has been a sponsored ministry of the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ. It is a small, private, liberal arts school in Donaldson, Indiana. It is located two miles south of U.S. 30 on Union Road near Plymouth, Indiana.
